Viddsee is partnering with the National Museum of Singapore’s Cinémathèque to make 10 years worth of selected short films available for online viewing. From July 15, film buffs can catch these films for free at www.viddsee.com, in the lead-up to this year’s 10th Singapore Short Cuts held at the Museum in August. Part of the showcased films include K Rajagopal’s The New World, Cannes winner Anthony Chen’s first film G-23, Sherman Ong’s State of Things, Jow Zhi Wei’s Outing and Tan Pin Pin’s 80km/hr. The site currently holds 150 short films in its archive (pretty impressive), including works by emerging filmmakers Kenny Tan and Ray Pang, as well as veterans Yasmin Ahmad and Royston Tan.
