Singapore’s latest attraction at the Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) is finally open. The Marine Life Park is RWS’s second anchor attraction after Universal Studios Singapore, and houses over 100,000 marine animals of over 800 species in more than 60 million liters of water, making it the world’s largest oceanarium.
You can now visit the two ticketed attractions at the Marine Life Park—the Southeast Asia Aquarium (S.E.A Aquarium), as well as the Adventure Cove Waterpark—each requiring an admission fee of $20-29.
The S.E.A Aquarium, the largest of its kind in the world, sets the standard for marine life and conservation education in the region, offering an in-depth look at habitats the world over, including the African subcontinent. Its viewing panel, also the largest in the world, is said to be a highlight and the centerpiece of the aquarium.
The real jaw-dropper though, is probably the Adventure Cove Waterpark. It has Southeast Asia’s first hydro-magnetic coaster the Riptide Rocket (that takes riders upwards), and will introduce sharks feeding and interaction programs with Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphins next year.
