UP Singapore to launch series of events solving urban challenges with creative use of data

In a creative effort to make Singapore a better environment to live in, Asia’s first city challenge initiative UP Singapore will be holding City Camp (June 15-16), the Urban Prototyping (UP) Weekend hackathon (June 22-24) and the World Cities Summit Exhibition over the next two weekends.
Held at various venues such as the Ngee Ann Kongsi Auditorium and the Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre, these events allow bright thinkers to brainstorm ways we can improve Singapore’s efficiency and sustainability, using data provided by organizations such as SingTel, the National Environmental Agency and the Land Transport Authority. Registration for the events closes on June 15.
UP Singapore is the first initiative in Asia that provides a platform for citizens to meet and work together to solve city challenges. For more info, like UP Singapore on Facebook and follow them on Twitter.
