For the entire month of August, 46 cable car cabins will be adorned with artistic impressions of Singapore in celebration of her birthday on Aug 9. Mount Faber Leisure Group has teamed up with 10 local illustrators from the Organisation of Illustrators Council (OIC) for this creative effort, which will explore and interpret the theme of National Day. Visitors can purchase limited edition merchandise adapted from the illustrations they see on the cable cars.
Further, from Aug 5-21, Singaporeans and PRs will enjoy a promotional cable car ticket price of $46 for three persons and discounts off the abovementioned merchandise.
The National Day sky art gallery also kicks off the launch of the Singapore Cable Car Museum, the first in Asia.
