There’s a new co-working space and it’s for all you fitness junkies out there

While we wait patiently for the opening of a co-working space made just for alcohol enthusiasts, we’ll bide our time and prepare for the calorie load at this new one designed specifically for all you gym rats, fitspos and wellness buffs.

It’s called the Core Collective, and it’s by the same guys that brought us cool downtown co-working space Collision 8, so you can be sure they know a thing or two about setting up community working spaces. But of course, being catered to fitness and wellness entrepreneurs, instead of hot desks you’ll find treatment beds and consultation rooms, and instead of conference rooms there’s a fully equipped gym, training area, specialised studios and even a boxing ring for MMA fighters. You can also learn ballet from instructor Evelyn Wong, pilates from Amy Van Dooremalen and Muay Thai from Vincent Chew.

On the health and wellness front, practitioners can utilise the physical therapy rooms and versatile spaces for consultations. There are already a few resident doctors, nutritionists and therapists you can check out, including chiropractor Kevin Tomassini, physiotherapist Shern Lim and nutritionist Caoimhe M Smyth.

The different spaces are actually spread out across several floors of 79 Anson Road, a stone’s throw away from Tanjong Pagar MRT. On level one you’ll find a flexi space designed to cater to events, group workouts and workshops of all sorts. And you’ll find the wellness and fitness areas on floors 21 and 22 respectively, great for those who enjoy a little privacy when sweating it out.

Core Collective officially opens Apr 2. For a taste of what’s to come, head over to their public open house from Mar 26-28, at 12-2pm and 6-8pm, and on Mar 29 at 12-8pm.
