Pizza Hut partners Beyond Meat to launch new plant-based pizza

Pizza is always a good idea in our book, and behold, the perfect excuse for anyone to stuff their face, minus the guilt: Pizza Hut has just unveiled a new plant-based creation. Named the Cheesy 7 Beyond Supreme, the ground-breaking pizza is the planet-conscious version of the brand’s best-selling Cheesy 7 Pizza.

Slathered with an incredible amount of cheese, ready yourself for a sweet-savoury bite as you dig into the decadent mix of Cheddar, Mozzarella, Provolone, Monterey Jack, Parmesan, Edam, and Cream Cheese. The mouth-watering treat is coupled with Beyond Meat’s plant-based Italian Sausage Crumble, mushrooms, sweet capsicums, and onions.

Made with plant-based ingredients such as peas and rice, and with zero added GMOs, the Beyond Italian Sausage Crumble feels and tastes just like the real deal. It even boasts zero added gluten, antibiotics, hormones, soy, and cholesterol – making it a truly crave-worthy indulgence in its own healthy right.

If a tinge of spice is what you need, opt for the Cheesy 7 Scorpion. The new flavour adds a splash of Tabasco Scorpion sauce atop Pizza Hut’s signature seven-cheese blend. The fiery sauce is made with a mix of ripe scorpion peppers, guava, and pineapple – and is definitely not for the faint of heart.

Fan favourites are still available of course, so if you’d like something more classic, fall back on the timeless Cheesy 7 Original or Cheesy 7 Hawaiian. Cheesy 7 pizzas are available in all crust types including Pan, Cheesy Stuffed Crust, and Pizza Hut’s new San Francisco Style Sourdough Crust.
