Hotel rooms across Singapore are now opening up for local stays again. The Singapore Tourism Board has allowed them to reopen for staycationers should they meet the regulatory requirements, and hotels here have been quick to seek resumption of operations.
As of last count, 47 hotels in Singapore have been given the green light. Listed below are some of them, sorted by region, and with a few tidbits of information you should know about the property.
Sentosa
Capella Hotel, Singapore
They’re launching a new “The Manor Experience” where you can have your own private pool and butler attend to you.
Crockfords Tower
This all-suite establishment as well as Hotel Michael and Equarius Hotel are the only three hotels in Resorts World Sentosa that has reopened so far. They are the nearest hotels in proximity with the S.E.A Aquarium and Universal Studios Singapore, which are both now open too.
ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove
Their rooms are selling out fast. But you can consider their yacht charter packages as well if you fancy a boat trip instead.
Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa
Choose from standard luxury rooms, suites and even sprawling villas with its own private pool. Their spa treatments are amazing too.
W Singapore – Sentosa Cove
They are offering a number of attractive packages, but we’re especially intrigued by their long-stay deal where those staying seven days or more can get up to 25% discounts and free daily breakfast for two.
Marina Bay & Raffles Place
Amoy Hotel
This boutique hotel is one of the most top rated on TripAdvisor in Singapore.
Marina Bay Sands
Reopening from July 17, including their infinity pool and sampan ride, to the public. A number of their signature restaurants have opened, and from August 4, Ce La Vi and Lavo is reopening too.
The Fullerton Hotel Singapore
They’ve got packages for couples and families, and even a Work from Fullerton deal in case you’re tired of working from home.
The Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore
Similar offers as the Fullerton Hotel. We tend to prefer this venue due to its waterfront locale.
City Hall & Tanjong Pagar
The Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore
One of the best staycay deals around is their 1-for-1 super special, where you book one night and get another night free.
Fairmont Singapore
Their Upsized Staycation Offer is really good. Kids stay for free, everyone gets free breakfast and there’s $100 dining credits you can use.
Lyf Funan Singapore
The co-living social hotel is great for bigger groups that also want separate rooms to sleep in.
Oakwood Premier AMTD Singapore
As a serviced apartment that has since been offering hotel amenities after an update, you can get the best of both worlds here. This means full cooking, washing and dining facilities in some rooms, if you want them.
Oasia Hotel Downtown
Convenient location right beside Tanjong Pagar MRT and Marmalade Pantry on the first floor is a popular restaurant to dine at. Fun fact: it’s also one of the filming locations for Westworld Season 3.
Raffles Hotel Singapore
With three new luxury staycay packages to choose from, now is the best time to check out the revamped, iconic heritage hotel if you haven’t already.
Bugis
Hotel NuVe
Boutique hotel for cosy stays starting at only $80. Probably the most affordable one right now.
Hotel YAN
One of the few places in Singapore offering a complimentary in-room minibar that’s replenished daily. Loft rooms are nice too.
Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Beach Road
It’s the serviced suites, and not the Pan Pacific Singapore hotel that is reopened. The hotel’s food delivery options are pretty amazing though, so do check ’em out.
ParkRoyal On Beach Road
Combine your stay with a meal at Si Chuan Dou Hua downstairs. It’s also right beside hip Haji Lane if you’re looking for activities nearby.
Orchard
Mandarin Orchard Singapore
Stay three nights or more and get 20% off, or five nights and more for 25% off. Looks like long-stay guests are in.
Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel
Their 24-hour stay deals are pretty good. Check out their Facebook page for promo codes.
The St. Regis Singapore
Rather than offering dining credits like most hotels, they are offering stay credits in their Distinctive Luxury deal that allows you to use $100 worth of credits at any of their restaurants, in-room dining and even at their spa.
Others
The Warehouse Hotel
Check in at this Havelock Road heritage hotel by the Lo & Behold Group if aesthetics and design is what you’re looking out for the most.
Marina Bay Sands
Many of the hotels here have implemented strict social distancing and safety measures, so don’t be alarmed to see your check-in attendant addressing you from behind a plastic shield, or for many of their systems to be completely contactless and automated.
If you’re planning a stay, do be a good hotel guest and help make sure both you and their ground staff stay safe by adhering to the safety regulations. It’s the new normal folks.
