Love them or hate them, raisins are a great snack. In Singapore, we’re perhaps most accustomed to California-grown raisins. Think brands like Sun-Maid and Ligo, with their red and white cardboard boxes that littered our childhood.
Apart from their sun-dried raisins, however, California also boasts some of the finest cheeses, stone fruits (peaches, plums, and nectarines), nuts, vegetables, grains, wines and more in the US.
With the support of the USDA Foreign Agriculture Service, the Western USA Agricultural Trade Association (WUSATA) and Buy California Marketing Agreement (CAGROWN) proudly present an exciting range of top-notch products directly air-flown from the Golden State itself.
All about connecting consumers with the people who grow and produce Californian food, CAGROWN was founded with a mission to promote California-grown agricultural products, effectively reaching millions of consumers each year with the California Grown brand and creative marketing efforts.
Along with CAGROWN’s campaign, many leading U.S cooperative representatives who lead the importation of goods into the country were also in attendance at the exclusive menu tasting at Four Seasons Hotel in Singapore.
Boasting an exciting spectrum of offerings, highlights of both new-to-market and existing products include dairy products made with 100% Real California Milk from Real California Dairy Families, Manzanillo and Sevillano olives from the farms of the California Olive Committee, peaches, plums, and nectarines from members of the California Fresh Fruit Association, and Californian Medjool Dates backed by the California Agricultural Export Council.
