Singapore’s bumping delivery app scene is always throwing something new and exciting at us. Apps expanding to new territories, apps working with new restaurants, apps now offering bottled cocktails. This week, we get a one-two punch from arch competitors Deliveroo and UberEats.

After a successful launch of breakfast options at the CBD area, Deliveroo is expanding to the Tanglin estate. This time, on the list are familiar names like Wild Honey, the eggs dish specialist, Marche Movenpick at 313 Somerset with its Swiss pastries, PS Cafe, Cedele and many more. It gets better: you can get your fancy breakfast set delivered with a minimum order value of $12.50. Breakfast delivery will last from 8.30-11am on weekdays and 9-11am on weekends.

Izy’s Hero

UberEATS may have been incoming competition for the established Deliveroo, but they sure know how to keep things interesting. This time, they are collaborating with Diageo to launch #letscocktail. Long story short, you can have drinks delivered to your door from the likes of Potato Head Folk, Highball, Ah Sam Cold Drink Stall, Bitters & Love and a bunch of other places. Too good to have a pre-made cocktail? Fear not. You also have the option of having a cocktail kit delivered instead. Get those phones ready because if you are the first of the six people to order through the #letscocktail banner on Mar 12, 12-1pm, your dream of taking a bartender home just might come true. No, not that. You’ll get to experience a bespoke cocktail session (no air quotes please) by a bartender right at home. Even more exciting, over Singapore Cocktail Week, you can order cocktail and snack bundles from Potato Head Folk, Highball, Ah Sam Cold Drink Stall, The Library and Bitters & Love.
