An art exhibition has just popped up with an interesting (furry) subject. Mongrel 2014 focuses on photographs and art of mongrels (or street dogs) by local and international artists like Elke Vogelsang, Ernest Goh, Siong Chung Hua, Namiko Chan Takahashi and more. From Nov 20-30, head down to Objectifs to support Three Legs Good, a charity working to give injured and disabled dogs a second chance and raising more awareness of adopting mongrels.
If that’s got you inspired, non-profit charity organization Save Our Street Dogs (SOSD), an organization that rehabilitates and rehomes street dogs, is hosting a Flag Day this weekend. Drop by Blk 115 Whampoa Road void deck on Nov 16 from 1-5pm and check out the cute mongrel puppies and dogs up for fostering and adoption. SOSD also teams up with the Cat Welfare Society (CWS) for a Mockingjay Part 1 movie screening over at Cathay Cineleisure in hopes to raise funds for their organizations.
