When Oakwood Premier OUE Singapore first opened in 2017, it was a fine serviced apartment offering, letting guests feel right at home with a minimum stay of six days. But they’ve since gotten a hotel licence as of January 2019, meaning daily stays there are now possible.
And the first thing they did with it? Open it up to staycationers. The CBD-area property is still properly equipped to welcome long-stay guests of course, and to lure in the weekend staycation crowd too, they’re now offering a package where you’re entitled to a whole bunch of enticing goodies.
The Bar
Only available on weekends (Fri-Sun), the package rates start from $280 a night for a studio apartment, up to about $380 for the bigger one bedroom apartments that are as spacious as some real homes. It also comes inclusive of breakfast for two, welcome cocktails at the bar, WiFi, late check out, room upgrade to the next available sub-category, and usage of their pool and fitness centre.
And if you plan on having dinner at their in-house restaurant Se7enth (you definitely should), you are also entitled to a 30 percent discount on their a la carte menu, or choose to spend $50 and get a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine instead. Once done with dinner, Oakwood’s poolside seats and day beds make for the perfect evening spot to shoot the breeze, wine in hand.

With in-room facilities like fully-equipped kitchens and living rooms among other things, having a staycation in a serviced apartment gets you more of that home-away-from-home vibe than your regular hotel stay, yet with all the bells and whistles—from turn down service to rain showers and housekeeping—that makes having a staycay feel like a luxury.
