<p>Sure, the idea of food delivery is far from new; the ones that do bring hawker food to your doorstep, have a small selection. There's also the supposedly shining beacon of supper delivery, <a href="http://sg.asia-city.com/city-living/news/say-hello-new-food-delivery-ser… target="_blank"><strong>Porterfetch</strong></a>, which unfortunately comes with a steep delivery fee. And then there’s local start-up <a href="https://www.honestbee.sg" target="_blank"><strong>Honestbee</strong></a>, which jumped on the bandwagon only <a href="http://sg.asia-city.com/city-living/news/honestbee-food-delivery-service… year</strong></a>. They might be playing catch-up, but they're really ramping up their services this year. They've just announced that they'll be delivering a sizeable selection of your favorite local hawker grub, without you having to melt in the sweltering heat (or get drenched in Singapore’s ridiculous downpours).</p>
<p>However, the on-demand service is only available on weekdays within the <strong>CBD</strong> from <strong>11am-2pm</strong> for now. You can choose from stalls like Jin Hua Fish Soup and Muar Sugarcane and Dessert from Maxwell Food Centre; Ah Heng Curry Chicken Bee Hoon Mee and Famous Sungei Road Trishaw Laksa from Hong Lim Food Centre; or Happy Duck and Chop Chop from Amoy Street Food Centre. And the great thing about it is that you can order from different stores within each food center in one order. Delivery fees are $3.50 per order, but it’ll be waived if your purchase is above $35.</p>
