The long-standing The Sentosa, A Beaufort Hotel was recently rebranded as The Singapore Resort & Spa Sentosa. Now, however, it has been announced that the hotel will be relaunched yet again as Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa come 2015, making it the second Sofitel property in Singapore.
The hotel will be undergoing a phased refurbishment that is expected to take between 12 to 18 months. Guests can expect plenty of landscaping (as inspired by Paris’s Luxembourg Gardens) and resort-like elements at the revamped property, which will feature 215 suites and villas. Renovations will be handled by DP Architect / DP Green Landscape, while interior design will fall under the care of MaxStudio. As of now, the hotel’s iconic Spa Botanica is already being transformed into a So Spa, which will feature 14 treatment rooms, six outdoor spa pavilions and a spa garden.
Meanwhile, the first Sofitel So property in Singapore along Robinson Road is slated to (finally) open its doors on May 31.
