It’s sakura season in Singapore (and here are the best pictures so far)

The tradition of viewing sakura (cherry blossoms) in bloom was once a pursuit that called for an overseas trip with the very real possibility that you might not even see anything when you got there. But you can experience hanami, or “flower viewing”, right now if you head to Blossom Beats at Gardens by the Bay’s Flower Dome.

There are more than 20 different sakura on show at the display and half have already started blooming. The display is scheduled to end on Mar 27. While you plan your visit, here are the best pictures so far.
