While the arts community at Aliwal Arts Centre has staged many free performances since its first inception in 2013, this is the first time the arts center is collaborating with local online store The Local People to showcase local products too. For the Aliwal Arts Night Crawl Art Market happening on July 25 between 5-11pm, they will be bringing in some new brands, too.
They include funky one-off jewelry from local label CityState, temporary tattoos by March Baby Collective and even yummy, dairy-free and vegan gelatos by Pong Gelato. Emerging artists like Lijie Ong will also be holding silkscreen classes, plus there will be lots of cool new talents you’ve probably never heard of to check out here.
Throughout the evening, various shows by local arts group and individuals including John Mead Dance Company, Odyssey Dance Sg, The Chinese Opera Institute and Brandon Tay will also be put up.
