Montigo Resorts just launched its own ferry service

[Updated on Nov 7] Remember back in 2012-13 when Montigo Resorts was on the top of everyone’s must-go list? The upscale Batam resort famed for its Mediterranean stylings and all-white Santorini vibes is about to make a big comeback. As of Oct 28, Montigo Resorts has launched its first-ever ferry service, offering guests the luxury of travelling to and from the resort in private, comfortable ease.

Managed and owned entirely by the resort, the 85-seater ferry is operated by leading operator Batam Fast. It will shuttle between Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal in Singapore and Batam Island’s Nongsapura Ferry Terminal. The shuttle is available for the public too, but guests of Montigo receive extra perks—priority boarding, and express immigration clearance at the Nongsapura Ferry Terminal. (Yes, it seems money can buy happiness.)

From now till Jan 30, 2018 (specially for SG Magazine readers only), ferry tickets will be priced at a special promotion rate of $50 nett for adults. To enjoy this SG Magazine-exclusive offer, drop them an email here with the subject “SG Readers Intro Rate”. The ferry leaves Singapore at 1:40pm daily, and at 11:20am, 3:40pm and 7:10pm on weekends.

Seems like a good enough reason to head back to Batam.
