Paris’ largest private art museum, Pinacotheque de Paris, will premiere works by art legends including Vincent van Gogh, Edward Munch and Jackson Pollock when it opens in the first quarter of 2015 at Fort Canning Centre. Led by founder Marc Restellini, the museum, its first outpost outside Europe, will showcase specially curated revolving collections of both classic and contemporary art. But before that, the team of collaborators, including Alain Vandenborre, partner of Art Heritage Singapore, will be holding a pop-up art exhibition in September this year for a preview of what’s to come. There will also be plans to reinvent the Fort Canning Centre to complement the museum with intimate retail and F&B spaces.
