The second Deliveroo Editions site comes with a modest dine-in area

London-based start-up Deliveroo one-upped their competitors with their new platform and delivery-only kitchen, Deliveroo Editions, last year. Now they’ve done it again by unveiling a second site over at CT Hub 2 in Lavender with seven restaurant partners.

The concept and motivation behind it is the same—the site will have “super kitchens” for restaurant partners to reach out to areas they’re not currently in and for Deliveroo to meet specific needs of their customers of that area while identifying which cuisines are missing in said area. But Deliveroo being Deliveroo, they’ve gone even further by introducing a new “click-and-collect” function, which really is self-explanatory. If you’re within a 100-meter radius of the CT Hub 2 site and need to stretch your legs, you now have the choice to drop by the site and pick it up yourself. The draw? Your delivery fee will be waived.

Deliveroo also knows how stifling it can get if you’re stuck at your desk eight hours a day, so they’ve also provided a new dine-in space where you’ll be able to consume your meal right there and then, while your food is still hot, between 11am-2:30pm and 5-10:30pm. For now, you’ll be able to chow down on food from Kurry Korner, Aloha Poke, Street of Saigon, Da Paolo Pizza Bar, Blu Kouzina, Wolf Burgers and Dosirak.

Deliveroo Editions is currently only open in Katong and CT Hub 2, but it’s only a matter of time before they venture further to other parts of Singapore. Jurong, anyone?
