The next time you’re in Genting for thrill rides and a shot at the casinos, consider your drinking location concerns settled. Singapore’s own RedTail Bar by Zouk will open January 2018 at Resorts World Genting, as part of the all-new Zouk enclave launching there as well.
At 4,289 sq ft., the bar accommodates up to 150 guests, and will offer the same cocktails and pre-club drinks patrons of the local RedTail are familiar with—including the infamous sour plum shots. There will also be a beer bar, Tiki bar, and light meals and snacks. And as a gaming bar, RedTail will boast a variety of games like Xbox, beer pong, darts, pool and even jenga; perfect for getting your booze-filled body hyped up for a night of dancing after.
Last time we spoke to Zouk Singapore, representatives could only hint at plans of a Zouk Genting, which would make it the second Zouk in Malaysia after the branch in Kuala Lumpur. But the award-winning nightclub has since announced all there is to come—namely Zouk Beach, Zouk Club, Capital (opening in the second quarter of 2018), and of course, RedTail Bar. With everything tucked under one roof, the four distinctive zones are set to truly revolutionize Malaysia’s nightlife scene. Let’s hope the plunging ringgit will be in our party-planning favor.
