Celebrating the foodie in all of us, the Singapore Food Festival (SFF) returns for its 29th edition this year. An island-wide showcase of our unique food culture and culinary talents from now till Sep 11, participants can look forward to exciting heritage tours, culinary workshops by experts and chefs, virtual masterclasses, and even an all-new virtual marketplace.
As part of the SFF, Feed 9 Billion proudly announces the introduction of the Feed9B Singapore Restaurant Week, where new alternatives and sustainable foods will take centre stage. Happening from Sep 05 to 11, discover unique menus and new food forms at participating restaurants.
As Asia’s Open Innovation Platform for promoting sustainability and innovation through collaboration, Feed 9 Billion joins our longest-running annual food festival in light of global concerns brought on by the recent pandemic and a depletion of natural resources.
Organising the world’s first food technology section in any restaurant week to be launched, the Feed9B Singapore Restaurant Week brings together 14 local brands and 11 restaurants for a first-of-its-kind experience in Singapore, presenting consumers with menus that feature ingredients such as plant-based beef and chicken from local food technology companies and the world’s first soy alcoholic beverage.
We’ll get to sample these specially curated menus at 16 outlets around the island, including innovative dishes like the Truffle Beef Mushroom Tart at 1826 that uses Thoughtful Foods’ plant-based meats, Yaki Udon at Love Handle that uses Kosmode Health’s W0W Noodle with their in-house plant-based minced meat, and Chicken Dumplings in Chilli Oil at Yum Cha, using Shandi Global’s plant-based chicken.
