Bring out your inner photographer at Southeast Asia’s largest photography marathon in Singapore this month

Singapore has been awashed with photo exhibitions lately. Just last month, we took at a look at some really beautiful images at showcases such as #MadAboutSingapore2016, ION’s Art Photography Series, and Wong Maye-E’s North of the DMZ. And then there’s the on-going Singapore International Photography Festival (SIPF) where you can check out some of the works at MRT stations and Objectif’s Women in Photography, where 16 women photographers from around the world tell their stories through pictures. If all these exhibitions have sparked the photographer within you, you might wanna take part in the 14th Canon PhotoMarathon happening on Nov 19.

Happening at Suntec City, it’s touted as the region’s largest photomarathon that’ll see the gathering of different types of photographers with varying degrees of experience. It doesn’t matter if you’re still trying to find your “style” of photography, or whether you’re shooting as a novice hobbyist or a pro, because the event is open to all walks of life. Exchange tips with each other and take on the challenge to run around Singapore to take some epic photos that follow a series of themes which will be announced on the day itself, all within a stipulated time. It’s a full-day event that starts at 7am and ends at 8pm.

Tickets are priced at $15. Register here.
