Boo Junfeng’s film got a standing ovation at Cannes–watch it in Singapore in June

Boo Junfeng’s second film, Apprentice, might not have received any awards at the Cannes Film Festival, but we’re still proud to have had him flying the Singapore flag on the French Riviera. If you’re as excited as we are about seeing the film for yourself, you’ll be happy to know that your wait is almost over.

The Singapore Film Society (SFS) will host a preview screening of Apprentice at Golden Village Suntec City on Jun 25, five days before its Singapore release. Boo will be on hand for a post-screening dialogue session. The preview is an exclusive event for SFS members and memberships are available from $50.

Need your local cinema fix sooner? SFS will also be hosting the first ever 4K screening of Eric Khoo’s classic Mee Pok Man on May 28.
