There’s a new movie screening series in Sentosa that’s completely free to watch

You’re about to start spending all your Tuesday nights in Sentosa. Local movie app Popcorn has launched an all-new cinema series that lets you catch your favorite movies for free at sundown by the beach. Running every Tuesday at Palawan Green, Popcorn Movie Nights will feature a free movie screening, as well as popcorn, food, drinks and music for all who attend. Bring along a mat or just sprawl on the carpet grass, and settle in for a hit flick chosen according to the week’s theme.

The series, in collaboration with Sentosa Development Corporation, kicked off on Oct 17 with Thor: The Dark World; but you can look forward to horror classic The Ring (2002) next Tuesday, timed perfectly for Halloween. Following that is a Pet’s Night theme in November—ace if you haven’t already seen The Secret Life of Pets.

Granted, Sentosa is a little out of the way, but free movies by the beach are the perfect mid-week respite away from the office. The sunset cinema series runs till Apr 2018, and you can plan your next trip down with the weekly screening details here
