The world’s first ArtScience Museum will open at Marina Bay Sands on the ‘auspicious’ date of Feb 17, 2011 at 1.18pm.
With its iconic lotus-inspired design, the ArtScience Museum is set to become the heart of the growing ArtScience movement as well as the premier venue for major international exhibitions from renowned collections worldwide.
Featuring 21 gallery spaces totaling 50,000 sq. ft., the latest addition to MBS is set to display a variety of exhibits that spans the art and science, media and technology as well as design and architecture.
The museum’s showpiece exhibition, ArtScience: A Journey Through Creativity, will feature a series of permanent exhibits that opens a dialog about art and science and the symbiotic relationship between them.
