You can now pretend you’re at the Tokyo Olympics thanks to these new Snapchat features

After being postponed for an entire year, the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics is officially underway. And while most of us are still stuck at home catching various events on the telly, you can now imagine you’re at the Tokyo Olympics all thanks to the OG video sharing social media app Snapchat.

Just open up your app to check out several cool new features like the innovative Augmented Reality (AR) Lens titled Train like an Olympian, which makes use of Snap’s body-tracking technology. Conceived by the official Olympics account, snapchatters can stay active by completing three exercises before the time runs out and be rewarded with a virtual firework display at the end of the workout routine.
