From newly-renovated putting greens to ones boasting jaw-dropping views

A club-and-ball sport that requires plenty of space, golfing arenas in Singapore are surprisingly abundant. Below, we list the best golf courses in Singapore, including a club which was crowned the world’s best last year.

Champions Public Golf Course

Previously known as Green Fairways, Champions Public Golf Course is a newly-renovated complex which comprises nine holes offering a challenging yet enjoyable game of golf seven days a week. At 60 Fairways Drive, simply shop a fully stocked pro shop for all your golfing needs before heading onto the refreshed putting green. Just note that the mini golf course is temporarily closed although individual and group golf lessons have resumed.

Keppel Club

It’s an 18-hole, 5,917-metre golf course surrounded by 44 hectares of lush greenery at Keppel Club. Open only to members during this period, also note that the golf course is closed on Mondays for maintenance and check the club’s website regularly to be updated on tee times. Otherwise, practice across a large driving range that’s fully equipped with amenities before grabbing a bite at the club’s various eateries.

Laguna National Golf & Country Club

Having renovated its two 18-hole championship courses and debuted the latest Clubhouse, Laguna National Golf & Country Club (Laguna National) has upped the ante on delivering a world-class golf experience. So whether it’s before or after your game, feel free to rest at the Golfer’s Lounge, which is set against a panoramic vista of the Masters Course or explore The Shop, Singapore’s largest on-course golf shop. Also look forward to the Laguna Putting powered by Nicklaus Design that offers a course that sits on premium grade synthetic turf opening in 2021. Membership is required to golf at Laguna National.

Marina Bay Golf Course

As Singapore’s only 18-hole public golf course, Marina Bay Golf Course is unsurprisingly one of Asia’s best public golf courses. Featuring 85 dramatic pot bunkers of varying size and depth, the course’s signature holes include the 651-metre par-6 hole and par-3 hole with island green design. And in addition to offering night golfing, Marina Bay Golf Course also houses one of the biggest state-of-the-art driving ranges in the region. Talk about luxe.

Sentosa Golf Club

Named the World's Best Golf Club at last year’s annual World Golf Awards, Sentosa Golf Club is truly in a league of its own. As a member, get to tee-off in the resort-style ambience and roam both The Serapong and New Tanjong courses. Other perks include access to premium gym equipment, shower facilities, private happenings and more. More information available here.
