Our favorite indie cinema The Projector is kicking off a new series of Freaky Friday midnight screenings. Come Oct 2, A Nightmare on Elm Street will be shown. If you’ve forgotten what this movie is about (or blocked it out of your mind after some traumatizing sleepover, more likely), the first film in this supernatural slasher franchise introduces the famous Freddie Krueger who somehow manages to kill teenagers both in dreams and in real life. Bring a date, or perhaps some courage, and relive the horror that this cult classic unleashed.
