It’s been in the works for some time now, and as we inch closer to the highly-anticipated launch of Disney+ on Feb 23, get excited to catch binge-worthy shows and movies across six content brands, including Disney, Marvel, Pixar, Star Wars, National Geographic and Star.
Entertainment label Star is the latest addition to the streaming service, which doubles the content available with more TV series, movies and originals.
That means Star will be home to thousands of hours of television and movies from Disney Television Studios (20th Television and ABC Signature), FX Productions and 20th Century Studios.
How I Met Your Mother
So not only can you expect to check out blockbuster movies such as Deadpool and Deadpool 2, you will also be able to watch Emmy Award-winning series How I Met Your Mother and The X-Files. Star is also said to be introducing the first Star Original Big Sky, from visionary storyteller David E. Kelley.
Big Sky
With an extensive selection of over 500 films and 15,000 episodes, Disney+ will also be the exclusive streaming home service for films released by The Walt Disney Studios in 2020 and beyond. Just think Frozen 2, Toy Story 4, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and even Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame.
And if you haven’t caught the two popular Disney+ Originals The Mandalorian and WandaVision, this will be your opportunity to do so as well.
As for pricing, the streaming service will only set you back $11.98 per month, or $119.98 per year. Disney+ is also available on a wide range of mobile and connected devices, including gaming consoles, streaming media players, and smart TVs.
Move over, Netflix, a new streaming platform is here to stay.
