It’s a pretty quiet week on the movie front, presumably because every theater is still screening The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
Bad Neighbors
You can count on The Five-Year Engagement director to deliver a low-brow comedy that won’t make you hate yourself after. The plot: bumbling new dad (Seth Rogen) moves in next to frat boy (Zac Efron), toilet humor ensues.
Mindscape
In Spanish filmmaker Jorge Dorado’s debut, a detective blessed/cursed with the ability to enter people’s minds gets into the head of a disturbing/disturbed teenage girl.
Walk of Shame
We don’t know what Elizabeth Banks is doing in this awful (11% on Rotten Tomatoes) flick. A critic at LA Times film sums it up as “an unintended nightmare scenario for women in Hollywood, and the persistent humiliation required just to get noticed.”
