From the same people who brought us Gin Journey in Singapore a year ago, now comes a new guided bar hop, this time focused on whisky (or whiskey—but we shall not go into semantics).
Starting Jun 12, The Whiskey Wander by Academy of Drinks will take place every Wednesday evening, bringing guests on a three-bar, three-hour journey that lets you taste a range of whiskies—in the form of classic cocktails and dram flights—while munching on nibbles, and as industry experts explore the various ins and outs of whisky tasting and making with you.
You will only know where you’ll be going when you sign up, as each week will feature different participating venues. But confirmed ones in the line-up so far include bars like The Single Cask, La Maison du Whisky and MO Bar, with brands such as Bruichladdich, Kavalan and Michter’s involved.
Only up to 11 participants will be allowed per evening, ensuring there’s space for everyone on the minibus, while also making sure group sizes remain fun and cosy.
The Whiskey Wander begins Jun 12 and takes place every Weds 6.30-9.30pm. Tickets $128 available here.
