Mini bowling, arcade games and cocktails when Avenue Singapore opens

You’ve heard about the trio of entertainment venues opening at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands with Marquee Singapore that opened last month being the anchor highlight. Now, part two of the plan is set to happen when Avenue Singapore welcomes its first guests come May 23.

If Marquee sets the stage for wanton partying, then Avenue is the place to be for lounging on plush leather sofas, craft cocktail in hand, and when the mood strikes, for a friendly game of mini bowling, pool or pinball. It helps too that the elegantly designed space evokes a sense of comfort, feeling more like an underground home den for you and your homies.

And it literally is found in the basement, of Marquee that is. While partygoers can’t easily flit between the two spaces (Avenue has its own ground level entrance seperate from Marquee), there is a back door linkway where guests with prior arrangements and reservations with the establishments can make use of.

For those coming by car, the added bonus is that Avenue sports its own drive-through entrance. So feel free to arrive in style as the valet handles the rest. Also, come early or you might not be able to get in. As a venue with no cover charge, we think it will easily become a hot spot.

After Avenue, modern Japanese restaurant and sushi bar Koma is set to open during the second half of 2019, completing Tao Group’s combined three establishments that are making their Singapore debuts this year, after the arrival of Lavo Singapore at the roof of MBS in 2018.

Avenue Singapore opens Wed-Fri 7pm till late and Sat 10pm till late. It is accessible via a level one entrance at the exterior of The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands.
