For 21 years, Wednesday nights were synonymous with Zouk’s Mambo nights. If like us, you shed a tear when the party came to an end in 2012 (ok, with a couple reprises since), you’ll be happy to know that a documentary is being made about it and you can be a part of it.
Titled Blame it on the Boogie, this is the brainchild of Dave Tan, frontman of veteran rock band Electrico. He’s currently in the process of sourcing content for the film and is hunting down all things Zouk-related including old photos, stories, videos and whatever else you can dig up. The project is also entirely self-funded by Dave, which is why he’s working on launching a crowdfunding campaign. Want to help? More details here.
