Asia is number one market for mobile apps

It’s official—Asia is the most lucrative souk for app developers. Mobile apps research firm, Distimo, has revealed that, according to the Apple App Store and Google Play store, Japan is the most profitable market in Asia, followed by South Korea, China and Taiwan. A huge 41 percent of revenue comes from Asia, while 31 percent is from North America and 23 percent from Europe.

Sony Electronics boutique to open at Nex mall

Sony have announced the opening of their latest store at the Nex mall on January 25. This new store is the sixth in Singapore and will span a 3,240 sq. ft. space. Highlights to look out for are the Digital Imaging experiential corners—a playground for customers to test out macro and self-portrait functions on cameras, Bravia’s massive TV display and an exclusive photo gallery showcasing images taken with Sony cameras.The store will be open daily from 10.30am-10pm.
