For your next lunch, try these food tasting boxes curated by a Singaporean startup

Tight deadlines, long hours in the office and sad desk lunches are something we are all too familiar with, and with not much time on our hands, deciding what to get for lunch (or even dinner) can become a tedious task, and ultimately making us succumb to unhealthy fast food or boring sandwiches. But you can bid adieu to all that when you check out this new food curation service founded by husband-and-wife duo, Ivy Ang and Ng Dirong.

The Foodist is a homegrown startup that’s meant to solve the rather first-world problem of getting convenient quality meals. Make your weekday lunches a little more worthwhile with tasting boxes which will highlight signature dishes from restaurants like OSO Ristorante, celebrity chef David Thompson’s Long Chim, Shahi Maharani and also the Michelin-starred Candlenut. With such a finely curated list, you might think it might leave a hole in your wallet but an individual box is well under $30, and there is no minimum quantity or delivery fee.

Although the delivery locations are limited to the CBD and Changi Business Park, we have our fingers crossed that it’ll expand its reach in time to come.
