There’s a new streaming service on the block and it’s packed with content from Fox Movies, National Geographic and Star Chinese Movies. The one-stop app gives mobile users access to high definition Hollywood blockbusters, live sports, documentaries and Chinese series, all in one place.
With Netflix and Amazon Prime available here, you’re probably wondering what’s so special about Fox+. Aside from allowing you to watch entire seasons of shows like Fresh off the Boat, Empire, The Walking Dead and 24: Legacy, the service also lets you stream the latest shows on the same day they air in the U.S., and movies shortly after their theatrical release.
According to FOX Networks Groups Asia president Mr Zubin Gandevia, “The first time you will see those movies in any subscription environment after they come into the cinema will be on Fox+”. While an exact time frame wasn’t given, movies often become available on Fox+ a year ahead of other streaming services.
If you’re a sports junkie, FOX+ also has a unique live streaming service that will keep you up to speed wherever you are, on events like the Formula One Spanish Grand Prix this month and Wimbledon next month.
For now, FOX+ is only available to Singtel customers on their CAST OTT video app platform. Singtel broadband and mobile users can sign up for the service at an introductory rate of $19.90/mth, and while Singtel TV users can enjoy the service at $12.90/mth, both will enjoy the first three months free.
After the first year of promotional prices, Fox+ will cost S$24.90/mth. Not a Singtel customer? Don’t fret because the service will also be available to StarHub users in the coming months. Download the FOX+ app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. To sign up for the service, visit any Singtel shop, Singtel Exclusive Retailer, or sign up online.
