Grand Theft Auto V to be released on September 17

Grand Theft Auto V, the latest game in the ever-popular GTA series, is set for release for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on September 17.

The massive new open world is completely explorable right from the beginning, comprising the urban Los Santos and rural Blaine County, complete with all kinds of terrain (even underwater!), wildlife and things to do.

Players can switch between three characters—ambitious young Franklin, wealthy ex-con Michael and used-up sociopath Trevor—as they set up and execute complex heists, practise on smaller “blitz play” missions and mini-games, or just go out and have fun.

The game also comes bundled with Grand Theft Auto Online (to be released October 1), which adds a multiplayer dimension and lets you play as your own customizable character.

Grand Theft Auto V retails at S$79.90 for the Standard Edition and is available at selected stores, including G3, Gamescore and Qisahn. A special edition (S$99.90) and collector’s edition (S$189.90) are also available.
