Know how things sometimes get out of hand on your local estate/community’s Facebook community page? Well, Singapore’s newest homegrown app aims to resolve that. Launched in Singapore today, Suburb is a local mobile social app for residents to interact and socialize exclusively within their estate community. Founders and first time home-owners Mark Wang and Damian Sia created the app as a solution to the existing problem of authenticating the identity of residents in existing Facebook groups.
Suburb’s main feature is its unique verification system which allows for a more exclusive and safe platform for residents to interact with one another. Aside from being able to chat privately or in a group with your neighbors, you can create topic threads, form your own estate management committee, and recommend group purchases of home products to your neighbors.
The free app can be downloaded on both IOS and Android phones.
