Android Pay which provides contactless payments for thousands of stores, has now expanded the roster to include mobile apps as well. While we can all agree that buying stuff is great, it’s a hassle to keep adding your payment details to every single website or app each time you order something. With Android Pay, you just need to do a one-time setup with your credit card details.
The next time you order a meal on Deliveroo, book a car from Grab or shop for groceries on Honestbee, just look for the Android Pay button inside those apps for quick and easy payment. Aside from apps, Android Pay is now also available on all Comfort and CityCab taxis in Singapore.
Obviously there’ll be some perks with you pay with the little green robot and aware. For one, you can get $5 Play Store credit when you you make 3 in-store payments (valid from Sep 27-Oct 16). Honestbee has also hopped on the bandwagon to give consumers $5 off all grocery orders above $50 when you pay with Android pay (valid until Oct 31, while stocks last). You can also receive $1 travel WiFi when you book using Klook with Android Pay (valid from Sep 27-Oct 10). Last but not least, if you make a purchase at Cold Storage, Market Place or Jasons with the Android Pay, you’ll receive a complimentary eco bag (valid until Nov 30, while stocks last).
