SG Weekend: 24 awesome things to do in Singapore (Jun 7-9)

Fresh off our mid-week break, we’re all ready to go again with indoor EDM festival Ultra Singapore, underworld-inspired revelry Haw Par Thrilla and lots more happening this weekend. Plus, a bunch of more low-key events (like a rare appearance from celeb scientist Brian Cox) round things off nicely.

New craft beer bar on the block In Bad Company is throwing a throw back party in celebration of all the delinquent times we had back in school. There’s no better time to check their digs out, with $10 food and drinks going all night, and with music collective Good Times on deck duty. Only bad boys and girls allowed. Jun 7

Can’t wait to get the party started? Dance music pioneer Sander van Doorn will be in charge at Marquee Singapore come Friday night, so come early and expect a night filled with some of the best house tunes to ever grace our ears. Jun 7

Because we can’t get enough of Japan summer festivals, Resorts World Sentosa is throwing their first ever RWS Summer Matsuri, where food, drink, film and cultural performances celebrating all things Japan will collide. EXHIBITION
Singapore’s Golden Boy street artist Speak Cryptic is holding a solo exhibition at Gillman’s Chan + Hori Contemporary. Open My Heart, Ease My Task, Loosen the Knot on My Tongue takes reference from a prayer of Moses; on this the artist draws to present his collection of drawings, paintings, installations, public art and performance-based work. Through Jun 9
