Pagoda Odyssey 1915: From Shanghai to San Francisco

An entire set of 84 hand-carved teakwood model pagodas has been painstakingly brought together and reunited for a special exhibition at the Asian Civilisations Museum. It chronicles the collection’s incredible journey, starting first from the Tushanwan Workshop in China, where the models were painstakingly carved by young artists under the watchful eye of artistically inclined priests.

Harmony Fest! ’24

Pickleball and Badminton Festival

Pickle is set to host the first-ever Pickleball and Badminton Festival, and will introduce beginners and enthusiasts to both sports under the supervision of professional coaches in a friendly and inclusive environment. Glow Festival by Prudential

Glow Festival by Prudential returns to Marina Bay Sands with 16 days of transformative, holistic experiences to awaken your wellness. The festival, part of the Singapore Tourism Board’s Wellness Festival Singapore, will offer more than 70 highly anticipated workouts and wellness workshops across six wellness zones. Green-House
Jul 13 to 14; New Bahru
Green-House, organised by Pass It On Studio, is returning for its third and largest edition in July at the soon-to-launch New Bahru, a creative cluster in River Valley by The Lo & Behold Group. Singapore’s first retail festival on sustainability will offer an expanded festival line-up, with a larger focus on future food and conscious fashion, alongside film screenings, pet adoption drives, and art exhibitions.
AFA Creators Super Fest

This is a visual feast for fans of popular culture and art. AFA CSF Singapore is a community-focused festival where established creators come together to exchange insights, share their experiences, and inspire budding creators. Look forward to over 200 creators from around the region, convention-exclusive merchandise and content, guest performers, and a new Fashion Hub section.

The family-friendly festival also features JDM Underground & Classic Car Meets, magic performances, stage games, race simulators, scrumptious eats and live grooving beats by local musicians and DJs. The works of three notable Singaporean jewellery designers are being highlighted at Asian Civilisations Museum’s debut show for contemporary local jewellery, aptly titled #SGJewelleryNow. The display is part of the ongoing #SGFashionNow: Runway Singapore exhibition, an annual fashion showcase that’s seeing its final – and largest ever – showing since it was inaugurated in 2021.

Goddess is a glamorous and powerful exhibition curated by ACMI, Australia’s national museum of screen culture. It will traverse 120 years of moving image history to feature surprising stories, costumes, sketches, interactive experiences, and cinematic treasures from silent cinema to contemporary films of today, with a new focus on Asian screen sirens.
Zoolympix
Now till Aug 25; Singapore Zoo and River Wonders
Zoolympix is back after a five-year break. A combination of sports with nature’s wonders, engage in a spectrum of fun and interactive activities inspired by the amazing natural abilities of wildlife. See animals such as the elephant, ring-tailed lemur, manatee and archerfish in a whole new light. Lift crates with different weights, inspired by the impressive weightlifting abilities of elephants, or try cycling and comparing your power with an electric eel’s 650 volts. Ente Veedu, My Home: Malayalees in Singapore

This is the first exhibition of its kind to focus exclusively on the Malayalees’ heritage, culture, and identity. It features both intangible and tangible aspects of Malayalee history through artefacts and stories as well as a variety of community programmes.
