Making the Bukit Timah area a lot more accessible is the opening of Downtown Line 2 (DTL2), slated to be ready by December this year. The 16.6km journey has1 depot and 12 stations, which also comprises of four interchanges at Little India, Newton, Botanic Gardens and Bukit Panjang.
And here’s the best part – it runs along Bukit Timah so those heading towards Sixth Avenue and Beauty World Centre can expect a faster, more convenient trip. Hopefully, this will mean more hassle-free travel options and an ease in congestion while taking the train.
