One of Singapore’s talents, Daniel Sid, will be performing at Boat Quay’s Begin. The young singer-songwriter is a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist who’ll bring a performance like no other, belting some of the greatest hits across various genres and decades. Oct 9

Forget Ladies’ Night, White Label Records will have you celebrating one of the most iconic decades of our generation. ‘90s babies, get ready for a fly, ‘90s night with hip-hop and R&B tunes from all your favourite peeps like Nas, Tupac and even the Wu-Tang Clan. Oct 9

You know you’ll be in good hands when The Weatherman headlines a Wednesday night party at The Council. Forecast predicts breezy melodies and tunes that’ll keep you grooving all-night long. Oct 9

Get a truly hands-on experience at Archifest 2019, where a slew of workshops, exhibitions and tours await. Through Oct 9

DRINK
Thai-inspired nights are coming to Jam at Siri House, as four bartenders from Bangkok will take turns to tend the bar for two nights. Expect Thai-inspired libations featuring Botanist Gin. Also, feast on yummy food like Mango Sticky Rice Ondeh Ondeh and more. Oct 9-10

EXHIBITION
Journey through the subways of the world and find interesting, personal stories of passengers at Life Underground. Held at the National Museum of Singapore, the installation reminds us that we’re all connected in one way or another. Oct 9-31

Thursday is the new Friday at Get Juiced, as Uncensored will be presenting an all-new mix of rap, pop and K-pop songs that are exclusively 2019. But just for the fun of it, they’ll also mix things up with some of the classics from the ‘90s and ‘00s. Oct 10

Prepare for a wild ride as Techno Thursday is bringing the beat back with high intensity rhythms. And leading the party is London-born, Berlin-based techno powerhouse Dax J, making his Singapore debut with an all-nighter this October. Oct 10

FESTIVAL
The Great Wine & Dine Festival 2019 is back (and elevated) for another three-day celebration at Resorts World Sentosa. Sample over 400 curated wines and craft sake, take part in a series of masterclasses, and connect with other like-minded wine-loving individuals. Oct 10-12

MUSICAL
While you may only know of local historical figure Dr Lim Boon Keng by his namesake MRT station, you’ll be able to learn more about him through his new musical coming this month. Written by his great-granddaughter playwright Stella Kon, this show will detail his life and times in Singapore. Oct 10-13

FESTIVAL
Celebrate the freedom to love through cinema at Golden Village’s Love & Pride Film Festival, returning for its 11th edition on Oct 10. Over a span of 11 days, find six LGBTQ-focused, independent movies, all in relation to this year’s theme of “Sparking Change”. Oct 10-20

Esplanade’s annual dance affair returns once again for its 14th edition. Presenting performances by both local and international dance troupes, Da:ns Festival is here to let you re-discover the body, through movement and art. Oct 10-20

All you ‘90s kids, take it back to the good ol’ days with This is the 90s at popular hip-hop club Cherry Discotheque. And be sure to check out some 300 pieces of retro ‘90s clothing pieces that will be on sale, like band tees and windbreakers from brands such as Nike, Guess and more. Oct 11

Head down to The Studio@Bugis and groove with other dancers during Blues Night. There’ll also be a Lindy Hop social which you can join in if you’re so inclined. Oct 11

Whether you're a vintage purveyor or a casual flea-goer, this market that runs every second weekend of the month is for you. You'll be sure to find a horde of booths lining Katong Square, with a myriad of vintage items including haute couture, home decor, keepsakes, jewellery, vinyl records and more. Live DJ acts will keep the entertainment at a high. Oct 11

Hosted by Asian modern board games publisher Origame, the Asian Board Games Festival 2019 is a free event for all board game lovers to gather and play great games together. Check out Taiwanese board games by Taiwan Boardgame Design, as well as Japanese ones like In Front of the Elevators and Let’s Build a Bus Route. Oct 11

Known for their remixes of sounds by artists like Disclosure and The Killers, LA-based vivacious duo Lost Kings will be coming down to famed MBS nightclub Marquee on Friday night. We’re expecting some of their chart-toppers like “Phone Down” featuring Emily Warren and “Look at us now” featuring Ally Brooke & A$AP Ferg. Oct 11

A Friday favourite at Ce La Vi is Flow with DJ Suren, who’ll have you working up a sweat with his delightful club hits. Go crazy folks, you know you’ve been waiting all week for this. Oct 11

MUSIC
A concert organised in support of the Singapore Bicentennial, Heirlooms - Reimagining the Sounds of our Chinese Forefathers will be held at the Esplanade, with a premiere of a repertoire of eight commissioned works featuring instruments found only in folk ensembles. The Teng Ensemble seeks to celebrate our unsung musical pioneers and reimagine the sounds of our Chinese forefathers. Oct 11
