Jewel's Canopy Park opening, a new regular whisky bar hop, and World Cucumber Day awaits

After a weekend partying hard at indoor rave Ultra Singapore, we're glad this week is shaping up to be a quieter one (sorta). Start with a visit to the newly-opened Canopy Park at Jewel Changi Airport, then go on a guided whisky bar tour, before having your pick of parties come Friday night.

NEW OPENING

The next edition of Popcorn Pop-up Cinema takes place at Bar Canary, smack in the middle of Orchard Road for your viewing convenience. This time, they're screening 2012's Hugo, a charming adventure film telling the tale of a boy that lives in a train station. Jun 11

Come listen to UK export Justin Heyes as he delivers punchline after punchline at Hero's' Comedy Masala night. Be prepared for the unexpected: this comic speaks Bahasa Melayu and has performed stand-up on the BBC and Malaysian TV before. Jun 11
